Hello all! It’s been some time since we gave the site some love, and it has been revamped and tweaked! If you haven’t been keeping up with the latest on IndieDB, I’ll post all that you missed since last post in JANUARY (YIKES).
Developer streams have been happening weekly to show progress on where we are at with the beta build. All updates are typically discussed within the stream. We are very active on our discord, so please be sure to check there for swift response.
Our FAQ’s are also worth checking out in the FAQ channel in our discord.
We are always accepting fan submissions! Many of the artistic pieces fans have submitted have been used in updates and in the trailers. We’d love to see and potentially display your work!
Dogs were confirmed…. And Zombie dogs too… You can see them in the dev streams. Currently, they are voiced by our very own Lawrence. “Woof.”
Controls to the game have been completely reworked and there are now a variety of control schemes to assist PSVR, Oculus, Vive, HMD controllers. Prior to Early access, an update for the demo will be launched to see the most recent changes to the controls and give you a chance to prep for the zombie apocalypse.
So what else? So many things. From breaking doors, to full sets of zombie animations. Our team is hard at work. New maps have been shown as well, “Dustbowl” and “Bunker”. Along with some hilarious glitches caught live, we make sure to let you see. Development has been as transparent as we can allow. We still have some aces up our sleeves that are sure to rock your world. Backpacks are revamped and will be easier to select and place items within.
One of the bigger updates being Epic launching Unreal 4.19 not too long ago. So we have updated our build and integrated. Which fixed some issues, while making a few. All part of developing this project. We have been having a lot of fun with making the game and showing you guys our baby Contagion: Outbreak. We know you guys will love what is to come! Soon…
One last thing, be sure to check out our latest interview in the indie-db. Alex might have slipped a date for EA. 😉
